Ana is not just the founder of Bambi Foundation Albania — she is the heart, soul, and strength behind it. What began as a personal mission to rescue street dogs from danger, neglect, and abandonment quickly transformed into a full-time calling, driven by love and a fierce sense of responsibility.

Bambi Foundation was born out of Ana’s own sacrifices — emotional, physical, and financial. In a country where street animals are often forgotten, mistreated, or ignored, Ana chose to act. She gave up comfort and stability to give these voiceless souls a fighting chance. With no initial funding, no team, and no guarantees, she built the foundation from the ground up — often relying on her own income to cover food, shelter, and urgent medical treatments.

Every dog that enters the shelter carries a story of survival, and Ana has made it her purpose to rewrite each of those stories — not just with rescue, but with compassion, care, and a second chance at life. Through storms, threats, sleepless nights, and countless tears, she has stood strong, not because it was easy — but because her love for animals left her no other choice.

What makes Ana’s journey extraordinary is not only her determination, but her humanity. She is a mother, a fighter, and a relentless protector of those who have no voice. Her mission has never been about recognition or reward — it has always been about doing what’s right, even when no one is watching.

Today, thanks to Ana’s unwavering commitment, dozens of street dogs have found safety, healing, and homes — both in Albania and abroad. And yet, she continues forward with the same humility and fire she began with, knowing there are still many more waiting for help.
